HOW TO FIX UNKNOWN BASEBAND, SERIAL NUMBER AND NULL IMEI

THIS TUTORIAL IS FOR THOSE WHO WERE NOT ABLE TO FIX THE NULL IMEI AFTER SEARCHING THE WHOLE WEB

I know there are lot of people like me who likes to flash and play with their phones. But if you are doing this for the first time, then after you have done the flashing you might have seen null IMEI and tried to  fix it with the different methods available in the web but you were not able. Then dont worry friends you have come to the right place.

The first thing why you were not able to fix the Null Imei as easily as others is because you might also have UNKNOWN BASEBAND in you phone. So nothing is working. Dont worry, I will teach you guys how to fix it.

If you were not able to fix NULL IMEI like others then check if you have unknown BASEBAND, you can do so by going to Setting >> About phone and see the Baseband there if its Unknown then its because of this that you were not able to fix the Null IMEI easily like the others.

Now lets work on fixing the problem. You  should
  1. Root you phone if not rooted
  2. ES file explorer (you can get this for free in google play)
  3. IMEI numbers ( you can find this in you mobile box or beneath the battery just take out your batery and see it.
Now Open Es file explorer and go to device >> data >> nvram. See the image below

Then Just delete the Nvram folder. After that restart the phone. Now the main problem is fixed and you can easily restore your IMEI using different methods. I like using Mediatek Mobileuncle cause its the easiest.

                                                                                                                        Open mobileuncle tool
1. Go to Engineer Mode and Select Engineer mode (MTK)
2. Go to Connectivity Tab and Select CDS information
3. Select Radio Information after that Select Phone1 (for the first IMEI)
4. At the top there is a command line which begins “AT+” just type there “AT +EGMR=1,7,”IMEI_1? (Put your first IMEI number number)

5. Hit send command and you will / may get a confirmation that "sent to mSend".
6. Now go back and select “Phone2? (for the second IMEI number)
7. At the top there is a command line which begins “AT+” just type there “AT +EGMR=1,10,”IMEI_2? (Put your second IMEI number)
18. Reboot your phone and check you IMEI number by dialing *#06#.
NOTE :  if you get  "This Command is not allowed in UserBuild" . Then  in line ""AT +EGMR=1,7,"IMEI_1" YOU MUST ENTER SPACE BETWEEN AT and +, so not AT+EG...
but AT +EG... is valid.
 smile emoticonAlso If IMEI n0. 1 is xxxxx74 , the IMEI n0. 2 is +8 so xxxx82
